Behold... The 2014 Walberg and Auge Revival Drum Set!
revival - noun
1. restoration to life,
consciousness, vigor and strength.
2. restoration to use,
acceptance, or currency: the revival of old customs.
3. a new
production of an old play.
4. a showing of an old motion picture.
5. the act of reviving.
6. the state of being
revived.
Back after 35 years, Walberg and Auge releases its first series of modern-vintage drum sets and snare drums.
We followed the same build traditions and unique attributes of Walberg and Auge drums from yester-year.
How did we achieve this?
- 'Black and Brass', used on
the first W&A drum badge created at the turn of the 20th
century, is the theme for the 2014 W&A Revival Drum Set and Badge.
- One
craftsman building each drum by hand using high quality components to ensure
'Perfection'.
- Dual inlay bass drum hoops ( found on W&A kits dated
1930's - 1950's)
- Similar RGB bearing edge profile (1950's - 1970's)

Natural finish pays homage to the drums built by W&A at the 'turn of
the 20th century'
- Unique 16 x 14 (diameter) floor tom (1940's -
1970's)
Walberg and Auge borrows the best from new and old technologies.
Drum shells are Keller's latest offering, MAGNUM series which come in 5 and 7 ply configurations. 40% thicker VSS shell plies provide vintage tone and warmth with modern day attack and volume. We like to call this 'Vintage in High Definition'.
Drum hardware is hand selected from the leading hardware manufacturing company, Worldmax USA.
Drums are built and finished by legendary custom drum builder, Rob
Kampa.
Mr. Kampa brings decades of experience and wisdom by building
drums which stay true to the 'Perfection' standards and philosophy of Walberg
and Auge.
