Brooks Tegler

Brooks Tegler is an authoritive expert of 1930's to 1950's Big Band Jazz music, drumming and drum sets... Especially when it comes to all-things 'Gene Krupa'.  Brooks has documented and re-created Gene Krupa's Slingerland Radio King drum sets to exact specification. These drum sets mainly consist of Walberg and Auge hardware. (high hat stand, cymbal stands, snare drum and floor tom stands, cow bell holder, crash cymbal holder)

Brooks also produces numerous tribute concerts which include:
Accurate and complete recreation of the 1938 Benny Goodman Carnegie Hall Concert
Gene Krupa, Artie Shaw. Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Nat King Cole, Louis Jordan, J.J. and Kai, Helen Ward,
Tommy Dorsey, Glenn Miller AAF Band, Woody Herman. These concerts involve full big bands and all related small groups.

Check out The Brooks Tegler Big Band That's It! album and the Brooks Tegler Facebook page for his latest updates.

Thank you Brooks for your dedicated work in the historical preservation of the drum set and America's greatest music... Jazz!
